The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center was founded in 1976 by the 19 Pueblo tribes of New Mexico to preserve and perpetuate Pueblo culture, and to advance understand by presenting with dignity and respect the accomplishments and evolving history of the Pueblo people of New Mexico.

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is the only cultural center or museum to focus on the history and culture of Pueblo people, and the only place in North America to feature traditional Native dances weekly.
