How long have you been in business?
retail since 1993. wholesaler and importer for years previously.
What is your primary product or service?
Arts & crafts of the world; everything for bead and jewelry lovers.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
silversmith and art student early 1970's. Indian jewelry dealer and collector late 1970's. World traveller and importer of jewelry and handicrafts 1980's. Bead and jewelry wholesaler early 1990's.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I put a lot of effort into hand-selecting the most unusual, affordable, and appreciated beads and jewelry that you just won't find elsewhere. Also other gift items including statues, sarongs, incense, greeting cards, and more.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I just bought my building (3/09) and am still remodling and expanding after my move. I'll be here a long time to come.

Extremely easy to find. Middle of town, close to airport and downtown on main street. Route 66 ! Nob Hill ! major bus lines - 66 bus or rapid ride. Between Carlisle & Washington near Morningside at 4008 Central SE . Ten blocks east of the University of New Mexico. Free parking.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover. We buy, sell, and trade jewelry and beads, especially silver and turquoise and African trade beads.
Which areas do you service?
Everyone who walks in. Some mail order.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Robert Steinberg , owner & manager Tiffany Tandish Garcia , assistant manager
What are your hours of operation?
usually open every day. Mon - Sat 11 - 6:00. Sun 12:30- 4:30. Later if you make it worth our while ( and call first) !

Many, many people say we have the best selection they have seen anywhere, and they wish we were in their hometown.
