How long have you been in business?
Opening its first hospice in 1979, Hospice Compassus is a family of community based hospices. Our nationwide network is a vast resource of information benefiting both patients and their families. Hospice Compassus has been in Albuquerque for approximately three years.
What is your primary product or service?
Hospice Compassus provides care for people who are at the end stage of a life limiting illness. A comprehensive plan of care is directed by the patient and managed by our experienced team including our Medical Director with the patient's physician, experienced RNs, social workers, hospice aides, Chaplain and Bereavement Counselor, as well as trained volunteers.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a small hospice that provides compassionate care coordinated by an all RN Case Manager staff. Our hospice is small enough that when patients call during the night, they know the nurse they are speaking with. We respond to referrals within an hour and do same day admissions including holidays and weekends. As needed, we can provide hospice care in the hospital.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Hospice Compassus is located in 15 states with one branch in Albuquerque.

Hospice Compassus works 24 hours each day, 7 days a week including all holidays. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
