With its large deck, wrapping mostly around the house you can enjoy the cool beautiful evenings. The house comes with a cozy pellet stove, large flat screen satellite TV, broadband Wi-Fi, bumper pool table and telescope to enjoy the clear star filled NM skies. Outside activities include hiking or bike ride the many trails through the Manzano Mountains, guests are welcome on a limited basis to utilize Manzano Retreats facilities including full indoor basketball court, ping-pong, pond fishing and more. Manzano Lake offers trout fishing is only 3 miles away. Seven miles away is the historic Quarai, also known as Quarai State Monument, and further down the road - its two sister missions. Enjoy lunch or dinner at the historic Shafer Hotel in beautiful Mountainair. The Pippin House is centrally located to take day trips to Santa Fe (1.5 hours’ drive using the Turquoise Trail through Madrid), 1-hour drive to Lincoln County Court House, and 1-hour drive to Albuquerque. The award winning Paako Golf Course is an 80-minute drive. While visiting these designations would be fun and educational, the true beauty of the Pippin House is just staying there and relaxing on its 40-acre ranch
