RBBC is not just a brewery; it is a destination. Located in the original Firestone building just South of I-40 with a large tap room with 69 seats and additional seating for up to 155, a large Bier Garden with stage, two conference rooms and an active brewery with glass walls to allow customers to see the daily operations and canning. Plenty of parking off Haines in a gated lot with additional spaces next door for large events. RBBC has 2 seasoned brewers: John Seabrooks (27 years with Coors-Miller) and Ty Levis (23 years with Santa Fe Brewing). Owned by Randy & Denise Baker, both Native New Mexicans. RBBC is certified "NM True".

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Randy and Denise Baker toured the Guinness Factory and "Cheers" bar in Boston several years ago. That was when they decided once all 5 children had graduated high school they would open a brewery together. The idea of a small intimate bar expanded to 14,000 sq feet when they purchased the Firestone building at 1912 2nd Street NW in Albuquerque. The Bakers continue to operate D.R.B. Electric, Inc. at 3601 2nd Street SW which opened in 1986.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our team makes the difference. Our Brewery team has over 28 years of experience. RBBC has over 24 beers on tap including barrel aged products and Sours. RBBC began canning 6 of our beers in the 1st year which are now distributed throughout New Mexico in kegs and cans.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently RBBC is at one location but plans an additional 3 tap rooms.
